David, fresh strawberries through winter? How many here dream of having a productive greenhouse garden like yours! I will get there. I've followed your videos since you lived in Houston. You're a great gift to those of us that care to be self-reliant. Thank you.

In working on my Greenhouse, I ended up cutting the end of the wiggle wire channel at an angle to not have the sharp edges. If you cut or file, the ends to a 45-degree angle then it works quite well.

I thought that you would cover the fan and the two layer separation. I'm sad that you did not cover different approaches.

You can make a cheap Bellow for between the 2 layers, over the fill tube, and tape 3 sides. This made mine so I can use a interval timer and save electricity. I have mine on for 15 minutes to fill, then it’s off for 45 minutes in the winter. In the summer I can turn it off for up to 90 minutes, but I do 75 minutes so it doesn’t flap. It will be different based on greenhouse size. I know the blowers are only 60 watts, but if the electricity was out it would make a huge difference. It’s like 1 day on and 3-6 days off overall.

Excellent recommendation. If you have a video about that I'd really like to see it.

@Ldsprepper, I have a video on my Rumble channel. It’s RangeStead. The title is Greenhouse Bellow. I can remake a quick video and email it if it’s short.

I use an adjustable differential pressure switch to maintain the pressure in my 3 layer cover. The edges are welded so there are no leaks. The beauty of a pressure switch is you can adjust the cover pressure very easily. The cover is so well sealed i had to install a solenoid to vent excess pressure when the sun heats the air in the cover.

I've been trying to find the design plans and cost of materials for this great build. Could you please direct me to the video that covers these...? 🤔

Are you gonna have to inflate it(run the vents constantly) to keep the distance between the 2 layers?

Very nice , 👌

Do you have issues with wind flapping plastic & what can be done if that occurs?
@LDSPrepper2 жыл бұрын
Since I have two layers that are inflated I don't have that issue. That is why my plastic lasts so long.

What zone are you? I'm in zone 6, pretty cold. Just wonder if I should use three layers.
@daves15632 жыл бұрын
2 layers is good for all zones. I ours like to find a way to calculate the insulation R value based on how much the layers are inflated.
@LDSPrepper2 жыл бұрын
We are in zone 5a. I would not use three layers.
