I didn't see any sealant on the inside, is that true?? Thanks for sharing, looks very handy for docking at night.

@@donaldwatson554 god bless Frank - obviously a naval architect of the highest order. But, there’s a large part of me that would have wanted the core sealed off with epoxy. Nothing major but certainly some fibreglass tape and a good dose of epoxy. I’m no expert but I’d be niggled if I watched a big hole drilled in my hull and no sealant to the core material.

@ Donald Watson I agree with Frank. Drilling a hole in a watertight hull and subsequently leaving the core of your water tight hull possibly exposed to water (which means rot) is an absolute no-no. It should have been treated properly prior to installing the light.
