HOW TO INSTALL VLAND HEADLIGHTS 2011-2014 DODGE CHARGERS

We just installed these today, but the light around the headlight that the new chargers have don’t come on on mine.

Did you hook it up to the marker lights wire?

There’s 2 cut wires on both sides and we don’t know if that’s what’s making it not work

After using them for a bit do you think they’re bright enough? And would you rather have them or the stock headlights?

Oh yeah they are bright for me..And yes they are bright enough I run 40w led on each side so total of 80w pushing out and the led around the headlights are bright too.. Don't get me wrong stocks are good too. But this new style looks nice.. For me ill stick with this new Vland headlights

Hooked mine up everything works all the lights work but daytime running lamps won’t cut on unless I turn the switch on on the dash any idea on what it might be ? because they should work on AUTO

I use the switch also to turn on the led bar around the headlights. During daytime. That's how it is. But only when auto lights for night will work but not day time unless u turn on your clearance switch during the day.

Did the new headlights already come with bulbs ? If not which new bulbs did you get that fit the vland wiring?

Nope it didn't. I went with H7 led... You can probably find a different size

Do you need to remove the front bumper to replace the headlight?

No I did not really. To me it's perfect.

did your headlights flicker? mine were fine for like an hour then the flickering started. i have the ballast that came with it

No they didn't Flicker I just plug and play. Not using a ballast. Since there LED bulbs

Did your car come equipped with hid’s?

So it was just bolts on? No other wire harness needed?

Yeah the bolts that hold ur light and plug and play. Nope no other hardness needed

What type of Headlight bulb do u need in order for it to fit correctly ?

I used h7 led.. if u go to vland website it will give u more details on there.. i think there's another one but I'm not sure what is it.

Did you used a H7 led on it ? I have the same one, but it doesn’t fit ..

Yeah I had issues to but I held it straight and clip the round clip around it and it stayed for me.. Till this day no issues

Did you have the projector version of headlights??....it says on there will not fit projector headlight version

I had the HID HEADLIGHTS.. STOCKS.. THE BULB IS A DIFFERENT SIZE.. I THINK I GOT h7 led bulb..

Where do I plug the H7 plug into after I install it in the housing ?

@@hectoraguilarii5503 . you plug the wire with the light bulb inside the housing wire and close it with the lid. then u plug the main wire to the outside of the back of the headlight

@@DaBoss86 unfortunately no u would have to have the switch on if you want them showing during the day... Your clearance lights . But at night when auto kicks in it will all light up

I had a bit of trouble with putting them on with the round ring clip where the bulb sits. I just lock it in there and I've been fine every since I got em.. Up to u if u wanna buy this or others

What led bulbs did you run ? I can’t find the right ones to work I keep getting only high beam bulbs that work.. All the dual beams I looked at have 3 prongs but my plug n play only has 2

@@UFOBrad yeah it don't. Only v8s.. I'm not sure what kind of wire is a v6. I've never looked at the difference. Are you trying to change the headlight or the bulb?
