You didn't mention anything about prepping the wall before applying wallpaper. Was the wall already primed or painted?

@@justme8649 yes this wall was previously painted, just a light sand was done to get rid of any little bumps. If you have bare drywall you will need to prime it first. I would also suggest to lightly sand after priming as well

How long do you get once you put glue on wall

It depends on the glue you buy, just read the instructions and it will give you a working time frame. It’s definitely enough time to work the sheets
