I don’t see any reason to pull the vacuum line either. The only reason you might is if you thought you might tear up the line. The last thing you’d want is is water intrusion in that system. There are a few things that are pretty expensive to replace. That mod looks very cool and probably more reliable. Great job!! I likee.

I know this sounds stupid but I really dont know, do I need to lock my hubs in both 4 high and 4 low with the super duty? If you shift it to 4x4 and dont lock the hubs, you arent really doing shit right?

No all modern diesels have vacuum lines. That way you can just turn the knob and it engages in four-wheel-drive. If for some reason you turn, the knob and four-wheel-drive doesn’t work that is what the hubs are for you would then get out and turn the hubs to lock it in four-wheel-drive, and then you would have four-wheel-drive. So basically, they are a back up in case the vacuum lines break and it doesn’t automatically do it for you. Hope that helps brother.🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
