Hey Brian, I'm the proud owner of a 84 B2000 with only 36,000 miles on it. Show room condition. Having an issue with the Vacuum amplifier up on the center of the firewall. It has power to it and a ground, but also a red wire with a female bullet connector about 18 inches long. Would you have any idea where the red wire goes to?

Yeah, that’s to heat up the carb I believe. You might be able to make it work with it on but I just removed it

Great videos !I have a question, theres 3 line coming from the fuel tank to the engine bay , one for fuel , another for return , and what is it the 3rd for?

I believe the third one was from a carbon canister into it for the fumes. If you swap to the weber, that line is not used

Depending which one you bought you most likely need to get the adapter kit for the Mazda B2200

What size filter are you using 1 3/4” or 2 3/4? Will they both fit under the hood? Seem like the same build as mine. I got a 1992 b2200.

Yes I believe both of those size filters will fit under the hood. The 2 3/4 might hit slightly if anything but I haven't verified it myself

Bro I can't get my starter to engage. Do you know if any of that egr wiring might be part of the starter system?

Both of my trucks are running without all the wiring I removed. You didn’t cut anything right? I’d trace the wires on the starter and make sure it’s all plugged in right, check grounds and power wires as well. I had a bad ground one time that was making the starter act funny

I removed it all but I'd check with your state laws . If you need to pass emissions, this is probably not recommended

Unfortunately everything about the engine in the 2600i is different from the B2200/B2000. Body and interior are the only things that are the same.

We don’t live in CA so I can’t tell you for sure but I don’t think it would due to smog laws over there

You'll have to get help locally. Our state doesn't do emissions and we don't help modify anything with emissions

Whats up bro iv had my weber on for awhile already been running a small filter on top of the valve cover like you but mine is spitting up oil and getting under the hood all dirty what u think i can do ?

It might be better to put the hose and connect it to the filter if you are seeing oil spots that way it keeps everything the way it should be

There's a plate with a silicone gasket in the underside of you valve cover. Sounds like your gasket might be trashed. Pull the valve cover and peel the old gasket off and use high temp rtv. Just make sure you get all the old gasket off and the surfaces are clean.

Good tip! I didn't think about his gasket, make sure you get those corner spots with the rtv so you don't leak oil

The distributor did you have to change it cause I just got an 88 b2200 and they have a dam 26/27 Webber on it and the distributor has no vacuum advance 😑😑😑

I haven’t changed any of the distributors on my trucks. Does yours not have the bit for the vacuum line? Or is it broken off?

Glad you figured out what was wrong, might just need to find that part and replace it or block it off, I seen some people run it without that line but I'd recommend adding it

You could plug them or clip the aluminum pipes for now but I really recommend doing the header swap shortly after if you can

I don’t know exact numbers but the less restrictive breathing on the Weber does give you slightly better mpgs from what I tell

I believe this is a genuine Weber but I’ve had it for a while so it wasn’t purchased recently. Your best bet is eBay but they might not be genuine

A genuine Weber has a w and Weber stamped on the top and Weber going down up and down on the body I believe he got a knockoff Weber there a lot cheaper but they wear out fast and can cause you problem it's better to spend a couple more hundred dollars and get there is a KZbin video on telling the real from the
