@@AintNoBoof yeah it's weird I'm still having this problem where my frame rate is extremely slow. Starting up and in game. I have a 3080 so there shouldn't be an issue. The other Xbox emulator works fine cxbx or whatever but this one doesn't

@@suvfree that’s weird, I prefer cxbx because I like how jet set runs on it, but I’d check other emulator videos if people playing the same game, cause if the emulator code is off it can cause bad frame rate

So the application was working at first, but as soon as I tried to load the virtual image, bios, etc, I closed both windows as showed in the tutorial. However when I try launching the app again, the window immediately closes before it shows anything.

It could be a amd thing or a game thing Idk some games aren’t 100% playable emulated If you check the xemu website it’ll show if the game passes as a fully functional emulated game

If any kind souls can help me out.Not sure what I'm doing wrong but even on startup the intro screen runs at 5 FPS. *Note I can play PS3 emulators and other AAA titles flawlessly, so I know my machine and specs should be perfectly fine to run this app. What is going on? What am I doing wrong? Tried changing the AV Pack settings. Nothing has fixed it. Any help is appreciated.

for some reason my emulator just crashes after about 10-30 minutes of playing. Also in blinx the menus and especially the part where the cat medals are put into place are very slow. could just be that my pc is using too much ram for smth else, or theees too little free space on C, but it worked before. maybe I will delete my current setup and just try setting it up again with this video and files. will make an update if I do.

Honestly I’m not 100% sure, but just until one of the last blinx builds the game wasn’t playable on xemu, so maybe you have a more outdated version of blinx w issues, I only played a little bit on mine and I haven’t had issues

@@AintNoBoof That could be the case, but the emulator crashes with every game after a few minutes, for example I tried to play rayman 3 just now and it ended up crashing after only about 10 minutes, so I think I have a faulty installation of the emulator. I also read that the flash rom I'm using isn't the best cause it's a debug version, which was recommended in a different video, but I'm not sure about that anymore. I'm reinstalling it now, so let's see. Thanks for the quick answer though.

@@AintNoBoof just wanted to reply once again, I just finished playing through the entire Rayman 3 game and Blinx is working much better now too. The cat medals used to take a long time to get to their place, but now it's like I'm playing on console. so thank you again, will recommend this video and setup to anybody's asking me for help!

My xemu emulator raises my cpu temperature to around 77C. Anyone else having that? Running other demanding emulators is fine like rpcs3 and xenia. So idk why all of my processing temps are skyrocketing the second I open Xemu.

That’s weird, I have a i9 and normally my temps are ridiculous in some games but in xemu it stays under 60 but in games like elden ring I jump up to 69-73

jsyk 77C might be a high temp compared to your usual, but cpus are generally good until 85 to 95 degrees depending on the model
