How can I completely remove the plastic air filter compartment from the side wall of my fridge; it's taking up valuable space. I have a PureAir Ultra 2 Air Filter in my Frigidaire 22.3 cu. ft. 33 in. side by side refrigerator model FRSS2323AB0 I pulled out the filter cover but don't see any screws to let me remove the entire compartment. I'd rather just put a $0.99 box of baking soda in the back of my fridge if it ever starts to smell.

Terms like ''pulling it straight off' is not clear. Do you mean DOWN or OUT or ?? off. Yes but how to get it off without breaking it. Use better descriptive terms or pictures.
