We installed it the same way as you and got the same unit too, why won’t the plastic clips hold any pressure? Our inlet and outlet ports keep bursting no matter how much we open the valbe

This is helpful but I have questions surrounding the sanitation and recharge. First, do I absolutely NEED to sanitize? Second, how long does the recharge last and are we without water for that time? Thanks.

Why can't you just answer the question of how long the recharge lasts? Is it different depending on certain factors. I just want to know when to expext to open up the faucets for the next step. Is it right away or hours or what?

What about the garden hose? It is ok to have the water for the garden runs through the water softener, or we have to make a separate line for the garden hose?
@EcoPureHome2 жыл бұрын
We recommend using hard water for your lawn and garden, as softened water contains added sodium that can affect your plants and soil.

After installing the water softener what would cause my water to be salty?
@EcoPureHome3 жыл бұрын

The best way to diagnose what is going on is to contact our customer service team and they can do some troubleshooting with you over the phone. Run for 20 minutes! No need to do that, just wasting water. 2 min is all and run through regeneration
@jackzhao38782 жыл бұрын
Maybe a stupid question, if in and out connected wrongly, what will happen? Thanks
@EcoPureHome2 жыл бұрын
If the softener's valve inlet and outlet lines are reversed, the system will not reliably provide soft water, may not regenerate automatically, and can even allow some of the ion exchange resin media to enter your home's water lines.

Is it harmful to drink softner water?
@stha006work53 жыл бұрын
no, but its not a very good idea to do so. Softened water should only be used to shower or be used for your appliances like your dishwasher and laundry machine
@mikewhitaker41503 жыл бұрын
No. Look at the water softener as a type of filter for water. It takes out unwanted stuff in your water. Keep in mind it removes minerals; we all need minerals to stay healthy, so some of the minerals that may be beneficial to you could be removed by the water softener.
@stha006work53 жыл бұрын
@@mikewhitaker4150 We got a water softner guy to check our water quality and we had some of the hardest water in the statses (Arizona) and when we talked to him, he told us that drinking softened water can be harmful over a long period of time.
@mikewhitaker41503 жыл бұрын
@@stha006work5 Ok, did he say how it could be harmful? I'm not disagreeing, just wondering how it could be harmful. As I said in my first reply, we all need minerals to stay healthy, so maybe that's what he was referring to? I guess it's difficult to answer the original question with just a yes or no.
@stha006work53 жыл бұрын
@@mikewhitaker4150 Yes, he told us since we have very hard water, we will be using more salt in our water softner, and as you know, salt is sodium chloride, and too much sodium chloride can be harmful to your health. It all depends on where you live, if your water is not very hard, you dont need to worry about the sodium levels of your water, but if your water is hard, sodium levels can be harmful
