Thanks for the video, very helpful. Were you able to rig anything with the OEM spring to consistently actuate the rear brake light? Thanks!

I got rid of the spring system and got a pressure switch one, it works off brake pressure

Thanks! I was about to order a pressure switch, but then managed to get the original switch working, with the aid of a few well-placed zip ties. I'll probably go over to the pressure switch option for better reliability in the long run.

Great video, very useful as I am about to install these rearsets on my Daytona 765 Moto2 edition. One quick question if you don't mind, who makes and where did you get the carbon fibre undertray extension from? The little piece underneath the shift side, I have seen a company called Carbonfbr do then and was wondering if this is the same one?

I honestly bought it like that. I think it came as a kit from the Taylor made slip on that was on there. I’m so jelly of your 765. I’ve wanted one since they first came out, but It’s just not going to happen, I recently had to let my 675 baby go because I’m no long able to physically ride a sport bike like I used to. I still ride, but I now own a beefed out 2019 Breakout putting 140/130 to the wheel. So I’m happy again. Lol 🤷🏼♂️😂

Good vid. Question. Did you notice any rear brake drag since this has no brake lever spring? Also, how are the heel guards holding up?
@F18C104 жыл бұрын
TRU Lunchy Thanks Bro! And no I have not, and they are still working sweet today. So far the heel guards are holding up perfect other than some wear from my boots. The bike still has very low miles on it. Less than 4K and 3 full track days.

@@F18C10 nice nice, thank you for responding. I just heard some people cracking their heel guards.

TRU Lunchy hey no worries bro, so far I haven’t yet, my last 675 I put 20k on it, but I didn’t use AP so we shall see after the miles start racking up.

Do you run a standard triumph quickshifter or did you change it for a push/pull one?
@F18C10 Жыл бұрын
I used the stock one. With the GP shift it made it perfect for me. I know some bikes have both but this one didn’t.

@@F18C10 awesome, looks like I'll be buying these rearsets, was just trying to find a good but also cost effective way of changing to go shift.

@@miketilley7389 best set I’ve bought yet. I’ve owned three 675’s

I assume this would also work for an equivalent year Street Triple?
@F18C102 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Very little is different between the bikes when it comes to engine and structure.

what length quickshifter rod did you put to lower the shift gear and would you know for any chance the stock size rod that is on there now. thanks
@F18C104 жыл бұрын
Jason woolf the shifter rod is the stock one from factory. I never changed it. All I did was add the rear set and the end piece it came with. No idea the size of it, length or bore size. Sorry. As for lowering it. Around 17:00 minutes into the video I talk/show how to lower it using the geared rod coming out of engine that the pivot arm is connected to. You can pivot it to lower or raise it. Then fine tune it by twisting the threaded part of quick-shifter rod.
