I have three that could be purified to 100% but they are all too valuable as shadows. They are Rhyperior, Kyogre, and Dragonite. Another that I am undecided about is a 13/15/15 Houndoom.

my favorite thing to hunt in the game is high IV shadow so I don't really like to purify but for weak shadows it can be useful for hundo collection purposes

You can search Pokémon in your storage by 0*, 1*, 2*, etc. Then just spam delete your bad IVs

Ok so as a recap. Non-weather boosted shadow Pokemon we encounter have a 1/152 chance to be hundos when purified while weather boosted shadows are 1/64?! I’ve been after this Shadow Bagon for a MINUTE. I guess I’ll wait until it’s windy lol.

I always do this with my mostly useless mons. I have a purified 4* camerupt and shiftry. I was tempted to keep the shiftry at 13-15-14 since seedot is such a common spawn for me, but I also thought the cp boost would make it more useable for me now, and I was never planning on investing in it even as a shadow anyway.

if you dont have the 100%, ill say whatever shadow it is, you purify an lucky trade an get a lucky purify pkmn, an get both bonus in reduction in cost of stardust an candy. my brother got a 98% lucky purify mewtwo. just got my 3 shadow hundo, chimchar ;)

If you had a high IV's Shadow Pokemon (has 13 IV's or above across the Board) you don't purify it Only Purify if: 1. you had a Shadow pokemon that could have better IV's 11's across the board if you prirify it (12 IV's across the board to 14 IV's) 2. The Pokemon has 13+ IV's across the board, but it can mega evolve (Shadow pokemon can't mega Evolve)

purification means saving a pokemon in pain a.k.a. shadow pokemon. 12:29 A shadow pokemon may be stronger than a purified one but it isn't ethical. A 2/2/2 purified weedle is more ethical than a shadow shundo mewtwo. Pokemon has taught us time and again that power isn't everything. Yes you can take down a raid boss in 1 minutes (with shadow pokemon) rather than in 2 minutes (with non shadow or purified pokemon) but you are sacrifising your morals for power and growing up all the stories I heard had the villain go for power while the protagonist went for the moral decision. And since we are the protagonists of Pokemon Go we should use purified pokemon, despite how tough it is, we should not succumb to the dark side a.k.a. the shadows a.k.a. to team rocket.

it's worth it to purify a hundo for Ho-Oh for the Master League. That's the only thing that's worth it right now unless you have several good shadow mewtwo and want to prep for the mega.

yo! that lvl 30 'mon you just caught in a GO raid aint no "hundo" when you transfer it to HOME, so you can use it (or store it to be used later) in a game and a battle league that really matters. You're gonna need some bottle caps to round out a total of 6 IVs (as opposed to 3)! Then there's the addition of EVs, and one to two more select moves you can teach it - and the strategy that goes along with that choice. PoGO is full of costume 'mon locked in an app which is dying. When it ends, all those cute "exclusive" 'mon, and rare shiny versions of those, and shadows will disappear - forever ... not to mention that by now in the near 8 years you've been walking around the same old town you might have spent more real money on GO than buying the last 3 gamefreak releases exploring their regions (and their dlc).

No. Your Shadow Kyogre is way stronger than a 100% non-shadow kyogre. I'll say save up as much candies as you can and use it in the Master League. It also dominates in raids as it's currently the best water type pokemon in the entire game. Plus shadow just looks way better than a non-shadow lol. Unless you already have a crazy shadow kyogre, and want a hundo for collection, I don't see why not.
