The outfits and location for this are really unique. How did you come up with them? Was it your ideas or the models or a bit of both? I struggle in that area, either I have a good location but don't have ideas for the outfit or the model has an outfit idea but don't have a good location. I've had photo shoots fall through because the models expected more direction from me on the outfit or location and I wasn't able to come up with anything. Maybe a good video idea!

That's why even top professionals are using "scouts" people who are professionals in identifying "perfect photo-op spots" for them. It is actually a talent that you cannot learn from a video.

Whatever you do in photography - at the end of the day - the light is what makes or breaks a picture. Having the talent to "use light" like a brush and highlight lines, forms, and shapes to amplify their sensuality and beauty - that's where you cross the line between photography and visual art.

Thank you for this. Ive had two failed attempts shooting in golden hour at the beach. I figure now the sky was too clear - i was getting very golden but harsh light on the model.

Wait - the longer you wait the softer the light gets. Be careful - the sun sets much faster than you expect. Minutes can become crucial. And - there is always another day. Go back and try again.

Your videos are fun, however your editing is very similiar in every video. I teherfore suggest to skip the editing section. Maybe you spend more attention on fashion, posing and lighting.
