Yes, you can plug the mic out straight to your soundcard. BUT, you would need to feed music into the harmonizer throught the TS instrument input (on the side). Ideally a Piano or guitar track or live playing. The signal into the harmonizer needs to have the chords you are singing to in order for the unit to identify what key/ chord you are on and duplicate the appropriate harmony.

Great video sir! If I have already a mp3 file on my computer can I also use this device? Do you think it'll work when I play the mp3 file and the voices change their originality? I saw the pedal have a slot for an USB cable so I can use USB to USB and will work? Thank you!

Good question. Manual says you have to download an app to transmit 5 channels In & Out. 1 & 2 for Backing tracks, 3 for Dry input, 4 for Sampler input, 5 for Natural play (Purely for the purposes of interpreting what key you are playing. I would guess (But not 100% clear that channel 3 would be affected by the onboard effects.) I would check wth a TC Helicon support or your local music store. Good luck!

Hello Fernando, thank you for your informative video, I have been using the TC Helicon Harmony M which was great and work well solo or with standard midi files, I am wondering if this harmony 2 vocal harmonizer works via midi or only with solo playing await your reply with thanks Kind regards Noeline

Hi Noeline, This particular unit preedicts what key you are playing in through an audio signal input via a TS cable (Guitar lead). You could route an audio from your midi file player, that can work too. Try it. take your midi file player to a music shop, and test it, see what harmonies it picks up from the backing track. @@susanfernnades4335 Your keyboard has a midi out, plug midi cable from there to the midi in on the TC Helicon.
