Myself and 1 TA, 20 kids. So many of my students have never been in social situations! Your bundles are the best! I have every bundle you have made, keep making more. Please make a field trip social story like your library, emergency drills, etc ones.

I am currently sub teaching in a classroom with 5 pre-school level students with multiple developmental and medical needs plus 2 para pros and am working on a plan to incorporate centres into our daily schedule. Having centres is part of the plan of the teacher I am filling in for but, unfortunately she hadn't set up a daily schedule etc. including centres before needing time off for health reasons. I had been planning on going to bed early but your video appeared so stayed up to listen to it and brain stormed as I listened. Thank you for the stimulation of ideas, I will be tweaking my centres for tomorrow.

I have 13 Centers- Writing, science, music, sensory table, block, listening/book center, dramatic play, manipulative, playdough, art/painting stand, writing board, light table, art table. I only introduce two centers at a time just like you said and break it up into two small groups with those centers we are introducing.

You have many great ideas. I will try implementing many of these this school year. One question is how do you make sure the kids aren't being "clicky" and are all interacting with each other?

I try to mix up small groups and partner projects so that everyone works together.

Hi 👋 I just found your channel! I LOVE ❤️ watching your videos! I don’t see any current videos so I am afraid you are not on KZbin anymore. Are you still working on KZbin?

Great video! Teaching center routines you mention that all your students play in one center and then you rotate them to another center together. Did you do that when you taught in a public school with 18 kids? I can't visualize allowing all 17 of my students in one center at a time! There isn't enough space. My curriculum requires a cubicle-like furniture arrangement of centers. So my library, sand, water table and discovery centers will only allow two children at a time. My art center and toys & games will have at least 4 students per center. I think my dramatic play can only have 3 students tops. Thank you.

How do they change clips if they are all gone?
@PocketofPreschool5 ай бұрын
What happens when all the clips for one center are gone? The students have to pick another center to go to. Yes, some do get upset. I think it’s an important skill to learn that sometimes you don’t get what you want, and making a second choice is ok.
