I'm fully agree with you - before to start anything at all in DR, you need to learn the language first, respect the local people and their culture and of course think carefully what your business might be. You must have the will to contribute to this country and community, not just to make money, but to offer something to the people who live there, something what they need .. whether be it food, jobs, or service of any kind .. in this case you might even succeed, if you're fully committed to and know what you're doing. Previous business experience is highly recommended! I personally would suggest working online for some company in your homeland and leaving your earned money in DR .. invest in the local economy through your personal consumption .. would be much easier and less painless, imho

It is a lot check and learn before you get in to a business to understand it to try to succeed. I agree with you that is my first recommendation try to make money online either with a company or leaning a skill to provide a service that you can probably teach others .

Great video Norberis this video touches on lots of realities and hard truths I think people think because its the DR you can get property for $5 or you don't need relationship skills to find a wife or partner people would be mad if you told them this but if you don't own property in the United States the easiest place to do it what makes you think your going to do it in the DR if you suck at business in the United States you will suck in the DR its about the person not the location

Keep in mind I'm not a realtor so I don't do land updates or sales. When I come across opportunities or an agent or builder contacts me I showcase these on my channel. My recent video shows homes for sale in Punta Cana. I have another video coming soon regarding land. Keep eye out for that one.

It is a good idea and also can be cheap investment here. I do not know all the datils of what you need to do but I remember talking with one of my brother about a year ago and the numbers that we came up with was not bad for the investment.

Cabarete, Sosua, Puerto Plata son buenos lugares para este tipo de inversion. Hay muchas personas visitando estas area. Ahora que yo trataria de buscar lugares donde el costo de inversion sea menor pero tenga igual o mayor beneficios. No se por alguna razon he vista que en el area de Puerto Plata las propiedades estan super caras especialmente nuevas construcciones. Claro esta eso tambien depende de la conveniencia para ti de que si tienes familiares o amigos que te chequeen tu propiedad, pero si contratas una compania que lo administre entonces no importa.

You can check it with Transunion online you pay a fee I believe is about 300 pesos with your cedula # and address and it give you a record for about the past 10 years.

Prices always is going to depend on your particular needs. 1- house depending on area, how big, city. 2-what type of restaurant are you trying to open, again area, how big is the place. Prices are going to depend on a lot of things.
