Thank you very much for your guide, it has been incredibly helpful for inviting my tauren hunter to my Alliance guild. Just one small detail: in the Guild Recruitment window, the option "List My Guild in Guild Finder" must be checked even if it doesn't work for opposite faction characters (it was checked in the video, but not in my guild settings), otherwise the "Link Post in Chat" button does not appear when you click "Invite Member" in the opened window and you cannot add the clickable guild invitation to the guild chat. I was confused by that for a time before I tried this option, but it finally worked. :)

You can't create new links NOR USE EXISTING LINKS if this is turned off. Thanks indeed. I could not apply using my link because recruitment was not listed.

One thing I did was just make the community and try to join it on my alts, but a key step I missed was that when you search for a community you have to check the box to include cross-faction communities in the search results. I didn't actually need to do any web browser stuff or make join codes. As long as the community settings have the cross faction option checked, your alts can search for it.

Fantastic workaround. I was stoked for cross-faction guilds but they do feel quite limited in certain crucial ways.

Thank you. I got a battlenet friend in my guild temporarily so she could invite my own characters in my guild before returning to hers. I had not realised I could link an invite in a community. If I need to do it again, I now have an alternative tyvm.
