Thank you so much for the double sided adhesive ironing tip. I have a huge diamond painting with bubbles and rivers.

I had a double sided tape painting that was absolutely awful!!!! I didn't have the heart to throw it out. It was huge too! There were bubbles across the entire pictures going every way. I changed the paper out to parchment paper and hung it up. A month or 2 later I peeled back the parchment paper. The bubbles going one direction disappeared! The weight of the canvas stretched and removed a huge amount of bubbles and rivers. I readjusted the parchment paper and hung the painting back up horizontally to hopefully remove the rest. I think the canvas was so awful to begin with because the company may have placed the glue sheet on a freshly printed canvas that was still very warm. When it cooled the canvas contracted creating a million bubbles going every which way. I always replace the double sided tape paper with parchment paper to prevent bubbles forming in my canvases when I store them. I have had the same problem of bubbles forming while storing paintings if they still had the original paper still on the canvas. I hope this info may help someone. Thank you so much for your videos💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💎💎💎💎

Great tips. Thanks for showing. I don’t think hanging your paintings on hangars caused the bubbles in your custom. I put my double sided glue paintings flat in a portfolio; and when I take them out to work on them, they sometimes have bubbles.

I poke holes like you do but then I push the air out with a putty knife, I think the reason you cant get the air out is because you are covering it up with the paper and not letting the air escape. Good Luck I love your videos

After I saw your double sided adhesive custom, I went to look at my own double side adhesive canvases. They had been in perfect conditions. And I hang them up straight on hangers in the middle of an empty closet with nothing touching it with air/conditioning temperature controlled. Now the bottom has rivers! You think it’s because I hang mine up on hangers? Do we have to lay them flat to store? It seems with double adhesive canvas, if you don’t do it right away, the canvas degrades and gets worse even if you take good care of it. What do you think?

Hi Nataliya ,if I am using a normal house iron what setting should I use it on ,like 1 ,2 ,3 ? no steam
@Lovecraftforever4 жыл бұрын
Hello Irene. Yes start on the lowest settings, to make sure, you don't burn your canvas, and NO stem

Have you ever had this happen? I’ve seen it in a few of my completed canvases. There are line running either horizontally or vertically, depending on which way I worked the canvas, and usually just one completed row of drills. The drills stand higher than the drills around them and no amount of rolling or heavy books flatten them down. Is it safe to use the mini iron on the drills protected with parchment paper? What do you think.
@Lovecraftforever4 жыл бұрын
Hello sweetheart. With the drills you can iron only from the back of the canvas, so you don't melt your drills. Is your drills different in size? Or air bobble under the glue? Why is it higher?
@bonniewagg11454 жыл бұрын
Lovecraftforever I don’t know what caused it but I think maybe I put the drills on without removing the river. It’s too bad because this is a beautiful picture

Ok so this is my first DP I already started the diamonds, I assume it’s to late to iron? It only has glue on one side.

Diamonds will not stick to creased glue.

This seems unacceptable if the factory is sending out this way. You should not have to go through these steps and extra costs
