Raphael Dean see that’s why I’d like to have a group hug deck. I like the interaction between decks at some of their bigger potential, but want to let it be at some cost to them here and there, not being completely oppressive the whole time. Let them play excited at how their deck is running, keeping their mind off the fun inducing, group hug player, and attack the other members of the group, and then sweep their legs out from under them, sometimes very closely depending on how well their decks fire off. And if I lose I lose, but we will all(hopefully) have had fun playing our decks to their potential. That may be a little too perfect of a situation but that’s how I’d want it

This deck has win-cons but it;s more about irritating players and wreaking havoc on the board, which is where the fun lies. While this deck is fun I strongly recommend playing it sparingly b/c of it's hit or miss tendencies and the fact that you get targeted really quickly. You should also run Thieves Auction with Tunnel Ignus and Zo-Zu. It’s a nice, flavorful, mono red way of giving your opponent a choice and punishing them for their decisions (like Browbeat and Vexing Devil). Thieves Auction exiles all non token permanents and each player drafts a permanent from the exiled pile while you get first pick. Your first pick would be Tunnel Ignus which makes it so that any land entering your opponent’s battlefield will cause Tunnel Ignus to do 3 damage to that player. So with Ignus and a damage doubler, your opponents would take 6 damage per land they draft. You force them to either draft lands and die, or draft no lands and be left without lands in play. The “combo” has a pretty similar flavor to red cards like Browbeat and Vexing Devil. It’s “give me this, or I punish you.”

These are the commanders I want to see a deck tech on, and they are as followed. 1 Dosan The Falling Leaf. 2 Niv-Mizzet Reborn. 3 Atraxa, Praetors´ Voice. 4 Tatyova, Benthic Druid. Show me more of what you're capable of creating Professor.

I play a very similar style in my Mogis deck. Zo-Zu is in there of course. Playing black gives you access to even more misery like Kaervek the Merciless, Havoc Festival, Sire of Insanity and a lot of other fun things that people tend to dislike. It's the deck I bring when people in my group start playing too much combo or durdle strategies. Games are a lot more fun if everyone is under a clock.

Can I get a deck list?

tappedout.net/mtg-decks/mogis-meatgrinder-10/?cb=1534102435 there's always room for change. depending on your playgroup (and your expendable money), you can use more boardwipes, tutors or specific cards to throw a wrench into a certein players gears.

Update: I ordered all cards. Built this deck. I double sleeved it and innocently invited friends over to play Magic with me.... Then.... BOOM!! This deck is unstoppable!! Timing is everything. It even surprised me and I was the one piloting it! Talk about maintaining a poker face and staying calm!! This deck is Amazing!!!!!!!! I wipe out everything my opponents have! They can't cast ANYTHING!! Oh and they get soooo mad! I love it! Despite them repeatedly threatening to punch me in the throat lol they keep wanting a rematch!! Bwahahaha! It's like they want to be punished! BUILD THIS DECK!! WORTH IT!! Thank you Professor! Side note: Personal choice, I added Jaya Ballard, Rampaging Ferocidon and Chandra, Torch of Defiance. They seem to work really well with this deck! In case anyone wants to build it and wants to switch out a card here or there.

First off, Love your picture and your art work :) Secondly, What cards did you switch out to bring those in? I'm trying to modify this deck a little bit as well.

ERRORx I have to go back and look. But off the top of my head Wheel of Fortune, and only because the price on that card went way up. That's why I added those planeswalkers. The deck has some weak creatures with amazing tapping effects... however, if your opponent manages to play a strong creature... The key is to not let them get that far into the game with that much mana. On chance that you pull a bad hand, you might want to switch out one or two of those creatures with that little dinosaur. The not allowing players to gain life really helps! But I'll take a look and get back to you. But typically what I do is play a deck a few times and stitch out the cards that I don't like or that don't go with my playing style. Timing is everything with how this deck is played. Be attentive to your opponent and what they're doing. Knock their lands out as fast as possible, kill their mana rock artifacts and then play yours. Try to stay two steps ahead of them.

The key to playing this deck and keeping your friends is you cut down the land destruction to the interactable sort like Dwarven driller, and you bust this out after the 3 and a half hour slog fest where no one at the table could end the game and you all tried to prevent brain rot while getting through the duel honorably. Not only will they thank you for bringing something to either punch or put the game on a timer, but they may even appreciate the honestly beautiful akki poetry that is zo zu by the end

the only thing that could be more irritating is leovold, emmisary of trest. But i guess he is banned. So congrats you have created the most anoying commander deck ever.

I normally only go to drafts or play sealed but building this deck has me excited to try out commander. I've decided to swap out 26 mountains for 26 snow-covered mountains.

Prof, your previous video about Mono Black Land Destruction was already enough to make me quit pauper. Please don't do this, I beg of you.

Really? You don't have to play it, and it's neither popular nor even the best Ponza build in Pauper.

Orbs of warding would fit in, makes you nonburnable, and blocks a lot of minion damage, due to our lack of creatures.

I have a very similar deck with Kaervek, the Merciless as the commander. Takes a similar approach of hurting people when they play the game, but I don't go out of my way to make them hurt. The idea isn't necessarily that I want them to feel punished for playing magic, more like I want them to really think about whether playing the game is even worth it. Runs many of the cards mentioned here, minus all the land destruction spells. Two cards I'd recommend for this style of deck are Repercussion and Price of Glory. Repercussion goes great with red staples like Blasphemous Act and other damage based board clears, works amazingly with damage doubling effects and has the added bonus of making people hesitant to swing or block. And Price of Glory is great for those pesky blue players or mana sinks. Possibility Storm is an honorable mention for any deck that wants to disrupt things. But it can be kind of tricky to pull off as it messes with your x spells and overloads and whatnot.

play this kind of game at my table and I'll just stand up and leave the game. No one wants to play 0-1 card a turn to finally die 1 hour later without doing anything.

Learning to play against Staxy, punishing board states is one of my favorite aspects of the game. The sooner you can identify the moving parts, the sooner you can have them removed.

Irritating other players is what got me into magic. Especially EDH, why I love blue, I used to dislike red until this. Right up my alley. Zozu was my first legendary BTW.

I approve of this Commander. Zo-Zu the Funisher is both great and delightful. Been my main Commander for several years now and my former friends can and will all agree on the Fun this deck brings to the table. Also, who needs friends, right? We got Zo-Zu!
