Good job, very well explained. Safety is key. The crow was just expressing his "thumbs up".

Your video was very helpful - just one question: can you leave the jack in place as an added safety measure in the event the jack stands slipped for some unpredictable reason ?
@SlothKingGarage7 ай бұрын
Yeah you definitely can. Just release the pressure on it, so the weight is still on the jack stands. Besides that, yeah that would be a good idea to do

Can you keep the jack stand in place if it’s not in the way? Functions as a third jack stand?

I see the answer in one of your other replies. Thank you!

I haven’t seen anyone really ask or touch on this. But is there any harm of putting two jack stands side by side almost touching on the same side? If you’re only removing one tire, basically to ensure if one jack stand fails the other is there as a fail safe? And/or having slight pressure kept on your hydraulic jack press just to have multiple fail safes?

@@Flippidyflops Not really, you just have to make sure both stands are well balanced. But most of the time people will just keep the hydraulic jack in place. That's usually a good failsafe. Another good option is to place the tire under the vehicle next to the jack stand. That'll at least allow it to not drop fully if the stand fails

Hi, what would you do if for example right hand side your hear 2 click and left hand side your hear 3 click on the jack stand after you lifted your car up?
@SlothKingGarage7 ай бұрын
I would see if the vehicle is level with those settings. If not, raise the vehicle up a little bit more and adjust the jack stand on the side which is lower
