I appreciate that the project is not yet finished but after i did all this it was just a bunch of kids, empty ,boring 3rd person, hobbies, cities with nothing much going on. When i watched this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6fYl6ika92YqJo it said it would basically be like the Oasis, "an Open virtual world" with your own Space similarly your "Dorm room" from the game Rec Room and that it was gonna be an open world similarly to GTAV map but Clean and Futuristic looking. What really caught my attention is it was 3rd person making look like a kids game and not the future of socializing online (it acc looked like a roblox game tbh) which really put me off cuz i was expecting to see a 1st person virtual social experience where you move you hands individually and walk around a big realistic-looking city where you just wave at a random, walk up to them and have a conversation. I dont like the idea of not being able to get different pants with different tops or mix stuff in general its just not realistic which goes against the whole point of the metaverse. It would be even better if you could wear clothes and shoes with popular brands like nike, adidas, jordans, hoodrich, vans, puma ect to make the whole platform more relevant to modern society. I saw too many kids games and not enough open places to explore cuz you need to remember that both adults and kids will be using the metaverse and if it will truly be the future social life there probably be people working there and holding meetings therefore its not just a game. Yes there should be worlds made for entertainment but its also basically an open world where you can do almost everything you do in real life. I still have hopes for the Metaverse but I really dont want it turn out as a VR version of Roblox
