I watched several videos and none were as good as this. Others were sending me on a wild goose chase by using My Ebay. I followed your procedures and came up with exactly what you said I would. I immediately subscribed to your channel and notifications. Thank you so much for a complete directive procedure that was very easy to follow!

Huge help! Thank you SO MUCH! My issue now is: How to set policies & tables to ensure customers get the correct shipping costs!? Also, what if I have a "free shipping" listing for domestic shipments.. How do I make sure international customers get charged shipping?? The last thing I need is to be left with their bill! yikes!! No one seems to have these answers!! I am soo nervous to keep posting & someone from overseas click something & think they are getting free shipping! Thanks again!
@PickRoll Жыл бұрын
EBAY sets the international charge, you dont see it. You charge or if free is only to get item to the warehouse, ebay handles the rest.

So what do you do about the shipping price. Do you set calulated, Flat rate what. Or put a price in the box?
@PickRoll Жыл бұрын
I put what I want to charge(which is called flat rate, not calculated), always have. I dont like calculated as it often overcharges, but it is good for beginners who don't know shipping costs. So for international your charging just to get to the warehouse in Illinois

Thank you for this video. It was very helpful. All my listings are set up now for Ebay International Shipping. My question is on returns, I have a 30-day domestic return policy for most of my listings, do I have to set up international returns set on my listings for this new Ebay international shipping program? And if so, would Ebay still refund the international buyer for shipments that arrived as described to their new hub in Illinois?
@PickRoll Жыл бұрын
From the info page (link in video description... "Once your item is received at the domestic shipping hub, your sale is considered complete. If the buyer opens a return, eBay will provide them with a return label and issue a refund at no cost to you."
@lowcountryloft8105 Жыл бұрын
Is the process very different to get started if you have never done International shipping?
@PickRoll Жыл бұрын
No, just turn on the feature.You are just shipping the item to the warehouse in Illinois, so for the seller it is just regular shipping in the US, the warehouse does the International part.
@Defcon97 Жыл бұрын
So when an item sells is the shipping address automatically on the shipping label when you purchase it to go to the eBay hub?
@PickRoll Жыл бұрын
Yes just like any other sale, except the address is the hub, not the buyers address. The hub will then relabel and send to the buyer
@andreaedwards19682 жыл бұрын
I haven't been able to find an answer to this question yet and I'm hoping you can help. What happens if you list an item that you do NOT want international shipping available for? Like Maybelline make-up is a VERO for international sales and so is Nike or Levi's? How do you turn it off? Or does ebay automatically exclude those listings from showing on international searches? Thanks a bunch and great video as always. 😊👍🏽
@PickRoll2 жыл бұрын
They state "you’ll be able to select eBay International Shipping on all listings that are eligible for export." So I guess it goes if eligible. Because there is no on/off toggle in the listing ship section to do individually, so its either all or none. I'm not positive but I see no way to choose
@PickRoll2 жыл бұрын
I will say I dont see ebay blocking certain items. The system lets you post vero items. I once sent a rabbit fur hat thru gsp, was restricted in whatever country, gsp kept item, buyer refunded, but I also was allowed to keep funds.
@andreaedwards1968 Жыл бұрын
@Pick & Roll thank you. I have a new pair of Levi's that I want to list but I think it's not allowed internationally. I just didn't want to get a VERO.

Very good video however I only used GSP and now none of my items have international shipping? On my newly listed items I clicked on international shipping and it said “eBay standard international shipping “ which I sold an item it showed I had to fill out customs forms and ship directly to the customer. I am using the eBay app on my phone do I need to go on my laptop to change everything?

Ebay International standard delivery is different than ebay International shipping program. Standard is you sending directly, and you are responsible to deal with returns etc, you dont have the benefiets the program gives

Well, at least eBay got wind of how reviled GPS was. Shipping twice. Repackef and damaged items. Tracking that stopped at the US/Canadian border. Sketchy regional couriers who don’t leave their vehicle and claim that!: a “delivery attempt”,, no pickup options, and packages missing and later declared “destroyed”. So much for acquiring that hard-to-find collectible now that it’s even more rare. All for seller convenience, when sellers don’t even know buyers are charged rates like $23 for a $1 trading card.

Either the package has lost, either comed with faulted, but at least a fiew weeks late! And never getting compensated! No thanks, NO MORE! Either the system HAVE to improve, or I'll staying away from the "eBye". Sorry, but no sorry!
