I've done the spine a few times, but I'm still scared. Knowing that it's just a mind game really is good, and seeing all the angles has helped a lot. Unfortunately for me our park is made for scooters, or 2D people, so carving isn't possible at all (the whole spine is the wheelbase of my BMX)

i used to be good at spines, but then crashed on one that had a normal spine but then it mellowed into a steep "hump" (sorta from math class it was like a normal/bell curve). Now its totally a mind game. I went and crashed on it again, when my tire slid out. My tires have ZERO grip. They are no-brand tires that came on a fit complete. I hurt my thumb on the last crash but am still eager to actually conquer it.

You can do it! Sounds like the spine could also be slippery! Spray some Cola on it and let it dry. Solves one problem haha

Yes it can, I generally ride double coping spines too, just have less room to plant a foot on top so be careful!

Just wondering are profile elite hubs supposed to be quiet because mine are. Im wondering how do i make it louder or do I just have to get new prawls

Every hub is different basically, it mostly depends on the amount of oil/grease inside the hub. If you degrease the hub shell and the pawls, your hub will be louder. It will shorten the lifespan of your hub tho
