I’ve been racing for a year now, starting in novice and jumping up to our oval pro class. You guys just called me out on several things I’m doing haha.

What's up, Brian! I'm missing a reason to push the bike down in corners. I understand, when I'm hanging off I'm keeping the bike more upright, conserving some ground clearance, suspension works better and I have a bit more grip in my disposal. Since the lack of ground clearance is not an issue on supermoto bikes, I still can't understand the benefit of pushing bike down. Can you please explain it to me?

Mr. PUFF we go over this a lot in the school. The short is keeping the bike upright is better for mid corner speed, pushing the bike down style is going to be faster on braking, turn in, transitions, picking the bike up, and most importantly setting up for the next turn. So it’s lose a little, gain a lot. Best advice I ever got is it’s about getting the turn over with fast, not cornering fast. Hope that helps

MY Drz fork seal blew :( Not even 2 years old 13k miles

13K miles for a fork seal is pretty good I'd say.

Try cleaning them. They’re probably not blown. Buy a seal mate
@socalsupermoto3 жыл бұрын
yeah plus one, some seal saver cleaning sorts most "blown" seals
