HOW TO JUNGLE! - Predecessor Deep dive - In depth Jungle guide "Pathing updated see description"

"Update, pathing has changed a bit in the current iteration of the Jungle. I will make an updated video after the next big item patch! You can still use the pathing in this video if your setting up for a gank quickly, but in general I would suggest full clearing your jungle and taking the most efficient path in order to full clear before ganking early. Basically try and avoid wasted movement and clear in the direction you are headed."
First video in my deep dive series, this will be my longest format of videos. This gives me enough time to really nerd out about all the details of the specific subject. Hope you guys enjoy this let me know if you have any feed back, I hope this helps you all learn how to jungle like a beast!

Very informative video, I was clearing the entire side then looking for a gank duo/mid then hitting the river buff, but this seems legit I'm gonna have to try it. The higher my mmr gets I notice people steal my blue more often.

yea you can use this pathing if your going for an aggressive early gank or invade. otherwise in general I would full clear depending on the character/opportunity's on the map.

See the issue for me is I do all this pathing and people still get mad because they think I’m not in there lane enough so now I start going under lvl because I’m trying to not get yelled at lol

sadly its the life of a Jungler. TBH i would just focus on getting your CS /rotation timing on point and ignore the rest!

That’s how jungling is in literally every game. Just remember that your team is stupid and you’re there to win not help them. Steal their kills take all buffs and carry that shit like a beef cake

I really enjoy playing Serath. I'm a smite veteran who just picked up predecessor. I had to learn some of the mechanics that are different, but Serath can go crazy if you time her abilities right. My favorite thing to do is to predict when the enemy is about to use their blink or mobility skill, and use Heaven's Fury to follow them.

thats the biggest thing ive noticed jungling in predecessor vs og paragon, the jung is won by farm. unless you are rocking a strong early jung generally dont gank till full/semi full clear

tbh, the lanes should be playing safe early as well unless they have a much stronger early game matchup, so if they are trading or losing lane you can't kill yourself trying to help them. Which tbh is Jungle 101, in any Moba "Never focus your losing lane", you risk falling behind yourself. "focus your winning lane as you get both you and that lane fed

dude. this video comes at the right time. i need any advice i get. i swear to god i am no pro at this game and do my fair share of mistaked but the amount of DOG players in this game is rediculous. i cant even tell you how often i go into a perfect gank where the enemy is pushed to my tower and still die alone with teammates half full of health . people just dont give a damn about me ganking their lane and just dont engage. im kinda getting sick of it. and i know my ganks are decent cause if on the rare occasion i got a good team it works perfectly fine at least getting a blink or so. ims take what i can and watch this

I've been favouring taking the buff camp that is on the same side as Offlane (seeing as the map isn't symmetrical). Is this not optimal?

it depends, that is the correct pathing if your just doing a full clear and not ganking offlane, if your ganking offlane start 2 after redbuff. basically clear in the direction your planning on going. in general i would full clear red side unless your going for an early blue invade, in that case its red-2 then blue invade

Why skip the 5 camp at the start? This is the first I have heard anyone go this way.

Gives you faster rotation initially. Helps defend your blue side faster. And small caps give more XP vs gold so you want tl prio them in general

If you jungle the normal way and take 5 then 2 you end up at level 3, 10-20 seconds before river buff pops. Then you can typically contest your right side buff easily. Ive gotten many kills this way as most mids take their left side river buff as its fastest.

You say to aim for a gank on duo lane with your first item online but unless I missed it you didn’t talk about going back to base yet. At which point in your first rotation do you do that?

usually when you have enough gold your first half item. Brimstone or butcher cleaver for example. sorry for not making that clear

I have to watch this video as I don't like Jungle but end up getting forced there. I main ADC and Support. Those seem to be the most popular roles. Sadly I don't like any of the junglers so I may try Iggy and Scorth there. Edit: also as someone who played paragon back in the day Khaimera has stayed constant in his use in the jungle. Never noob friendly
