The sidechain is a random bus docked to the left side. Basically the sounds i want sidechained are routed into that bus so its easier to control

Honestly you just have to enjoy what you're doing and just mess around. When I started I liked to watch those fl studio tutorials such as "How to Sound like Madeon" and just watch those and creating my own take really helped me learn about production skills and eventually lead to what kind of music I like to make. The most important thing is that you enjoy what you're making.

Some of the sounds I used from serum are from the Snail's House Sample pack, I am not sure if the pack is still available. Just try your best to experiment and create the sounds.

Why are people just incapable of syncing their audio with their screen recording? It bugs me so much when the sound plays like a solid 3 or 4 beats before the tracker even goes over the note etc

When you record the video such as the final results the cpu can't handle all of the plugins and it slows down. So when you put the audio together with the video it isnt always going to line up perfectly

@@Dovitate It's just tedious and not necessary. The overall main idea is the audio which helps to hear how everything is put together. So as long as it helps people hear the main idea then I am glad I was able to be of help. I understand how the syncing could be annoying or something of that sort. Also I believe the rest of the tutorial is synced properly but if there are some issues let me know I'll try to make that my focus next time.
