It works great. I also soak my lettuce in the same water/lemon mixture. Brings back the freshness and crispiness

Sandy thank you so much! My toddler, who turns 3 in a week, sometimes will only eat a couple of apple slices at a time...and then if I try to give it to him a day or two later he doesn't want them because they are mushy. Thank you for saving me money and a bit of aggravation. Hope you have a nice trip!

I eat an apple a day and do prefer them sliced with cinnamon on top. I'm not a big fan of apples lol but eat them because they're good for me. I'm definitely doing this today. I enjoy all your videos since finding your channel and my favorite part is your ending..."I'm out", have safe travels.

Friends were I live at times will give me a few bushels of pairs - I dehydrate most of them - I'll set them in lemon juice before I dry them - it helps prevent Browning - I eat it as a snack -you can do the same with apples Neighbors will also give.me a couple of bushels of limons before a freeze - I'll squeeze them and strain them - A gallon and s half of limmon juice can. Be cooked down to a quart of real thick syrup - I put the syrup in 4 eight oz canning jars - if a recipe says to add a table spoon of lemon juice - I'll add 1/6 of the concentrate I have that's equal to one table spoon - I do the same thing with the blackberries and elderberries I pick at times - there in abundance in the woods were I live - also I can get blue berries from those who have trees and pick them - I cook down every thing - in the Bible or old litriture refers to old wine it's refuting to extract - or cooked down concentrated juice - You can cook down the entire fruit or pulp as with limons or others also - I'll normally juice every thing then freeze it - it can take days to cook all the juice down - in.my InstantPot I just set it on slow cook it depends on the altitude and humidity on how long it takes to cook down - For me 1.5 gallons it takes 2.5 days to cook down to 1 quart of syrup - I can the syrup - it takes a lot of room to freeze it all - ( Sandy this is Sidney - I changed my handle or name ) -

@@sandysteinbrook yeah I'm still around - I just thought I would add that extra insite - when you had that green bottle of Limon juice in your hand it made me think of how I do things - I wind up with so much at times that I had to figure ways to put it up - I dry dehydrate black berry's also I'll just add it to hot tea - also I'll cook down hole black berry's down to an extract when you add it to hot beverages or even cold beverages the little black berry's swell up to large little Berry's maybe 4 or 5 times there normal size - I like to spoon them out of a drink and eat them - Another way is to put the black berries in a blender and blend them - Then cook them down to a thick extract - you can water bath can it or dehydrate it eather comes out really good - I just started using that handle Able, it means capable - I had used it for different business I had owned over the yrs and many had called me able over the yrs - or by my bussiness names -

@@sandysteinbrook my dad was a publisher and my grandfather's brother was a publisher - I was groomed to be a publisher also but chose a different Carrie rout - down here both my dad and grate uncle were well recognized by scholars - also writers go back 500 + yrs in my family - so I find it easy to put words into print - You had mentioned bring sliced apples with you on a road trip - for yrs I was constantly traveling from on end of the country to the other or headed to offshore oilfield platforms - I always had dehydrated apples with me - you have to be careful how much you eat when there dehydrated - they will swell up in your gut and you can very full -
