Hello , I have been a subscribers of yours for years. I've learned so much. With the time I have now, I decided to try perfecting or rather achieving the process of doing wsh n go. I've studied you and your videos and techniques like an exam!! I've recently gone back to your earlier videos when you were attempting to achieve. I'll admit the out come has gotten better. It appeared yours got better over time as well. My hair looks gorgeous when wet. When it dries it's okay, a lot of fizz and not a whole lot of definition. So, I've concluded that it's due to being HP. My hair is not hydrated to its maximum potential. I do not know whats blocking, because I've done everything!!!! Including Maximum Hydration, years ago. Hopefully, I'll keep at it and maybe it'll get better like yours over time and practice. The only thing I haven't done yet is the protein treatments. Can you remember back to your beginnings and thinking this, because I saw the transition for you, but there were not a lot of in between videos that explained or laid out what you did different at that point. I know about your latter changes or the more recent ones. I tell you, I have studied you. Back then why did you stop using two gels (just curious as I try to learn from your earlier videos). Lastly, there are not a lot of HP 4C girls on UTube who hair look like mind. It's extremely dense that's the difference that I'm observing. I see people that are close but the amount of hair in say the circumference of a section or ponytail is less than mine. You are close, but I have more hair in the circumference of my sections and its a lot of thin strands like yours. Any suggestions I'll appreciate.

Yes, moisturized hair is the goal! I've started misting my hair daily with an aloe juice/water mix, for the past month. And decreased my wash days to weekly, instead of twice a week. I've noticed less tangles and shedding, on wash days. Not sure if its because of the more frequent moisturizing or the less manipulation from washing my hair, but either way my hair is thriving! Great tips!

Hi I saw one of your more recent videos where you mention using a spray instead of hair milks to moisturize your hair between washes. Can you please elaborate about the spray you use or refer me to one of your videos if you have already discussed this in detail. Thanks again for all you do to educate us.

Yup motisture is the name of the game, especially when trying to get a style to last throughout the week before the next wash. It’s a tricky balance sometimes to get defined hair that is also moisturized but not frizzy. I’ve been experimenting with using more ph balanced products to achieve the longevity of both moisture and minimal frizz, especially at the root.

Great video. For me and my lo po hair, moisture has to get in on wash day. Applying water, humectants, and oils on top of other products is just not as effective. Clean hair accepts and holds on to moisture by far the best.

For me, I find that alternating washing & cowashing every 3-4 days is key. My hair thrives with all the water - it never gets dried out, and I have fewer tangles/knots because I’m getting the shed hair out before it really becomes a problem. I realize this wouldn’t work for everyone, but it works well for my fine type 4 strands.

I have been alternating from shampooing and co-washing and my hair has been more moisturized. With less tangles and less shedding which makes detangling easier . This week I'm pre-pooping with coconut oil and my hair is silky smooth. Thanks for the video.

For the next tip Tuesday will you talk about shower filters & hair changes as we age? I am not sure if when I was not able to wash my hair with a fresh shower filter if my hair is feeling drier due to not having one. Even stretching out my hair with rollers it still seems to be going through a dry stage. I have clipped my ends. Switched out products and something is happening, but not good as far as my hair hydration. I am eating healthy as possible, too. I don't know WHAT is going on. It is said as we age our hair gets drier due to graying. Help. Frustrated.

Hair can be dryer as we age. Do you have any build up on your hair?
@w99064 жыл бұрын
@@ALove4Me It is possible. I have not used a clarifying shampoo lately.
@doreeneb4 жыл бұрын
@@w9906 If you're in a hard water area and don't have a filter, not only would you need a clarifying shampoo but you need a chelating shampoo. Chelating shampoos remove the calcium etc deposits that are left on the hair from hard water which can have the hair feeling dry no matter what you do. You'll probably need to chelate once a month. You can typically get a chelating/clarifying shampoo combo. Just be mindful that not all clarifying shampoos can chelate. I personally use Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo. Joico also used to have a really good one but I don't recall the exact name of the shampoo. Hope that helps 😊
