Hi, Linet and Charlow! To keep snakes away from your home forever plant lemon grass around your compound at the edges and in your kitchen garden. Lemon grass also has medicinal uses( fever, acne, anxiety)just add it to your tea,with or without milk. My mom ( in Uganda)had just 2 clumps in her compound one in front and one at the back and that kept the snakes away.
@Linet_ke3 ай бұрын
Great idea! I actually planted it in this video

@Linet_ke Good for you! I have just finished watching the whole vide. Great minds think alike.❤️😂

@Margaret637, thank you for that eye opener. I have lemon grass too in my backyard for spicing food & tea and for medical uses, but I never knew it could keep away snakes. I will plant more around my compound. I have been planting some flower varieties and tobacco to chase away snakes as a biological control method, and also destroying termite antihills.
@pisteuojustbelieve2 ай бұрын
you can also plant wild garlic flowers around the compound they are beautiful and keep the snakes away. It has the same colour flower as lavender

Use steel nets to cover your pipes. The dirty bag you used in covering the pipe could lead to water passage being clogged. And it still won't resolve the snakes getting in.

Linet, when you find a tomatoe that is eaten leave it there so that the birds come to eat the same one, otherwise they will start eating a fresh one. You will notice that once they start eating it, they always come back to the same one but if you pluck it they will find another one to start eating.
