You can also use the idatalink SAT1 harness for the xm antenna if you are willing to take apart the factory toyota radio (xm radio equipped) there is a little 2 inch sub harness in the factory radio that can be removed you plug the SAT1 into the sub harness. That's what I did before this new idatalink harness for toyota was available

I noticed you plugged the adapter for the factory sat radio into a new antenna I’m guessing for a new sat radio install. How do retain my factory antenna to just use the sat radio that came factory on my 2016 Tacoma? Upgrading my radio but not wanting to install a new antenna or new sat radio box.

I would like to do this with a Kenwood DMX1057XR install into a 2018 Toyota Tacoma. The Kenwood is not a navigation receiver and I don’t plan on installing satellite radio. Idatalink tells me I can’t do this, but you’re saying it will work. Can you please clarify for me? Thanks!!

I've got a 2009 Toyota tacoma with the factory xm antenna do they make an extension wire to go behind the radio I have a dd kenwood deck the antenna hookup is on the drivers side kick panel

Hi guys. I’ve got a 2013 RAV5 that I’m upgrading base radio to a factory 2017 Toyota navigation radio system. Since my original radio had no gps, I would need a gps antenna with a correct input connector end to fit the 2017 Toyota Navigation unit that I’m installing. Looks like a small rectangular female input on rear side of radio that’s rectangular yet has a rounded base bottom. Does your Maestro sto2 have the correct male gps input for my 2017 factory Toyota radio with gps? And further, what actual antenna type might you have or recommend for my 2017 installation? Would it mount and fit behind the dash or external like a shark fin for my 2013 RAV4? Thanks all

Brian Rush Toyota uses 2 different type of antennas, one square one round. If you have the round one yes

Your factory sat antenna is behind the glovebox. Drop it all the way down and on the front right side starring at you will be the sat tuner. 1 harness and 1 thin cable ( usually a yellow plug into the box ) that is your sat cable

lolo ent yes what he said, do that and get the iDatalink SAT1 adapter. Then you can plug that into the SXV300 tuner and use you factory antenna.

Piznick64 if you have the base radio( no JBL) we just hard wire it in. If you have the JBL system then the PAC RP4.2-ty11 smart harness comes with the Aux cable.
