Just found your video by chance! It saved my footage. I was shooting from outside to inside with drone, so the lens closes for outside and didn't open enough when inside which made darker, and I needed to raise higher the exposure, and with this I set a keyframe for last inside frame with good exposure, and a keyframe for outside normal, so now the video makes a smooth transition in exposure as I wanted so :D thanks m8!!! just subscribed!

1:17 Color - top right panel -> Adjustment -> Basic -> Scroll Down to Color * Diamonds on the right are the keyframes to start and end the change 4:23 Zoom (slow zoom) modify Scale Up Arrow to go to the beginning of the video -> Video -> Basic -> Set the keyframe for Scale and Position start on the film strip ('W' short cut key to delete all to the right) -> move on the film strip to where you want it to end -> use the top middle to move the picture (L, R, Big, Small) where you want it (if zooming on a face, keep the eyes in the same position, easier for the viewer to transition to the new view) 6:18 Zoom (quick zoom) -> use the diamonds on the right to create start and stop keyframes -> position the first and last keyframe to where you want it

Hi Trevor, simply amazing thank you!! CapCut Question: if I want to zoom in and out but I want to fix the size of the frame, any perspective on this? Let's say I have a clip of myself talking and I zoom in slowly to emphasize a certain sentence. As the scale changes, so does the size of the picture; but I want it to stay the same size as the zoom is happening. I'm trying to do this with a mask but I'm finding it hard to control. Hey Ted - They've been trying for 4 years and the US is a big market for ByteDance - a market with deeper pockets than a lot of places. So I personally don't think it'll be banned. I think they'll figure something out. But who knows! Either way, the skills you learn in CapCut translate to all the other apps. Even if you just get the free version, you can learn a ton about editing. A few seconds before I started replying I was learning Resolve - and all the apps I've learned before - the original FCP, Avid, Adobe Premiere and Capcut - are making it MUCH easier. Tho resolve is a little more complicated than I thought!

How do I change the origin/pivot point for tweening?

To change the anchor point for something like an arm for a character, you need to bring the arm into something like photoshop. Put the anchor point/pivot point in the exact center of the frame on a blank background. Then export it as a PNG so the background remains blank. Then when you rotate it, it will pivot from that point. You can also use Photopea, which is a free online image editor.

HEY TREV : ) another issue I'm having when trying to export it keeps saying currently 4 tasks are being processed but they aren't getting completed. I've cleared the cache but i don't think space or storage is the problem considering it's a brand new laptop with tuns of storage. Any thoughts?

Dang I've never had that in CapCut. It COULD be an issue with corrupt media - I've had similar issues in Premiere where you either can't export or can't render. IT'S A PAIN. The fix is usually deleting one video or audio clip at a time, then trying to export again. Instead of deleting clips, you can mark an and and out and try exporting 1 section at a time. Mark the first 30 seconds, export, did it work? Then the next 30 and so on till you find the section with the corrupt media. Just narrow down the issue doing something like that. You can also try creating a new project and - gulp - starting over. Even try creating a new project and try to export one clip, just to see if it's capcut/the computer/settings, or just the media. It's just a matter of trouble shooting the issue be changing one variable at a time. Hope this helps and good luck!

When I click on my video clip, the option to edit the video doesnt appear because i am using a template. only audio options come up. how can i edit the keyframe without that feature? What I tried doing was adding a zoom in effect, and the goal is to have it zoom to the bottom right instead of the full center which is the zoom in effect automatic. when i click on the zoom effect i am able to add keyframes, but when i change the video's position, it changes it for the entire video because the keyframe only effects the zoom effect for some reason. Okay, I figured it out- I just downloaded the template once I replaced my clips and then edited that new video. This way the clip was fresh and unlocked and I could do whatever I want to it. If you have any insight or tricks that can bipass needing to download it let me know! But the above is one solution.
