Crumbbs it matters what kind of kick you want like,you need to hit the sweet spot of your foot to hit the ball dead center to do a knuckle ball,you need to use your instep to hit the bottom right spot of the ball to give it a curve,and you can use your shoe laces to hit the dead center of the ball to do a power kick

Nicolas Choong if you lean over the ball too much then its either going to roll or lift up a little, if you start pointing your chest a little more away from the ball you may be able to lift it up a little easier

Seems like you have to lead with the head and body forward over the ball ( tilt forward) to be able to land on front foot after shooting and the opposite lean back when crossing/clearing

I use my instep to strike the ball... maybe a little less accuracy but so much more power it’s crazy. Once you get used to your instep shot you can generally aim it pretty well tho... I’d say try to develop an instep shot
