This is actually a pretty common glitch. I've exploited this numerous times when a crewmate tries to report a body my partner killed, then they can't report anything in the meeting.

8:40 he said he saw a movement, he would have seen the body falling if he was standing in the meeting room when the meeting was called because everybody is teleported to the table, but their screen stays where they were before the meeting was called. That's why the body was in the meeting room the next round.

It also works when button is pressed, I call it phantom button because the person who hit the button can't vote or talk to alive people. And when voting is over the body stays there so then you can report it immediately.
