When it says the weed killer will not kill the grass, they are true, but up to a point. I find that areas that are treated are stressed enough that when it gets hot a few weeks later, then the grass IS affected. I have never had ANY luck with Bayer products. For hardier weeds, the Weed B Gone with the purple label works well. The problem I have with buying chemicals through Amazon is it will frequently come back saying "Cannot be shipped to your location".

@@TheLawnMentor Your assumption is flawed. Grass is not being used properly and using poison to ki=hill healthy plants that do not harm humans is not medicine. Healthy plants, whether vegetables, fruits, flowers or grasses, don't need people to survive. In most cases people don't need grass gardens to survive. "Lawns" area recent fad that uses excessive human resources to tend to plants that aren't well suited to survival where they are artificially planted as monocultutes, isolated from the complex environments in which they evolved. Each plant type does best in a slightly different environment. Using natural minerals and materials that are found in an area to change soil pH and chemistry can make growing conditions for unwanted types of plants. Dandelions do poorly in non-acid soil. Clover does poorly in dry, high nitrogen environments that tall grasses with deep root systems can survive in. Tall grasses deprive broad leaf plans of sunlight. Gardeners who used their brains, not poisons helped our species to adapt to the environment and survive. Those who tried to change the environment to suit our preference have failed spectacularly.

People say I am anal about how meticulous I am about my grass. It doesn’t bother me. I like the challenge of a healthy lawn. The perennial weeds are the enemy. Purple violet. Creeping Charlie. Clover. Dicambra does not affect these pesky weeds and in Canada the heavy hitter herbicide’s are non available in retail stores. So it’s frustrating.🇨🇦

They are all different. Mostly what you should remember is the label will give you multiple application rates. Chemicals should mostly be a last resort (although I don’t follow my own advice). Most chemicals will tell you X amount per 1000sqft. This can be diluted how you like but make sure to use enough to kill the weed and not cause chemical resistance.
