I have freaking black locust trees in my neighbors back yard right on the property line. They drop so much crap in my yard. There is a huge root on my side of the fence I wonder if your method will work here.

Why not just cut down the tree now and drill holes in the stumps and pour the root killer in the holes and in a few weeks get a stump grinder and grind the stumps

When pouring from a jerry can with no spout, turn it upside down so the hole is at the top when pouring. Stops air coming in which stops the fuel glugging and spilling everywhere. Great vid BTW 👌
