I started watching this thinking of my children but realized this was what I needed to see. This is the text, with a link to this video, that I sent to my husband and children. This was a fantastic video for every single one of us. I watched it because I follow Chris Stefanick who is a great Catholic speaker. But this episode is for humanity, not Catholic theology. I thought I would watch this seeing how it was causing too much for others. I use my iPhone for faith, connection, devotions, and it made me believe I wasn’t addicted. I am addicted to constantly checking my phone and using it for everything. Very eye opening to when my anxiety skyrocketed… when I got my first smartphone. Having access to internet is not bad. Social media apps have definitely hurt our society as a whole… and I begin with me. Please watch and listen when you have 36 minutes. It’s not about pushing the faith, in about regaining our peace and true human connection. Help hold me accountable, please!
