Cue 15:30 - "God is 'only' good" - That describes me 35 years ago, at 40 years of age. Growing up, my mom took us to church "to introduce us" to what "some people" believe. In high school, she let us decide for ourselves who God was. With a driver's license, we went for the youth group fun events. God did not go with us. College? Freed from "religion," I didn't care whether God was or was not real. Life was good...or at least OK. I didn't care enough to declare he didn't exist. I just didn't care. Based on my entire life today, as a Christian, I attribute my past indifference to: 1) a lack of belief in anything I couldn't see/hear/touch, 2) a disinterest in where the world (universe) came from...any power great enough to create the world, 3) my own self-importance as the center of truth and life.

I agree with your assessment here, I was also pleased with how Jake handled it. We all know Tyson wanted to kick Jakes ass but just did not have it in him. Jake look legitimately scared at first but then he noticed Tyson knee giving him trouble and held back. I also think Jake has what it takes to take Tyson's place in the world championship. I am impressed in how far Jake has come in just 4 years of training. That in itself is an accomplishment, I look forward to seeing him win more although he needs to tone down his ego a bit. When you have an aggressor and you choose surrender...you actually make it certain that the aggression will continue.... If you believe in peace at all costs suggest you put your money where your mouth is and go to the frontlines and lie down between the two sides... Peace = Justice.
