Ohhhh I love this sweater, but I don't knit nor do I have one of these machines, I just crochet!! Anything similar in your tutorials? I'm making at the moment the crochet cowl tee and I just finished your comfy cozy cardigan!! Awesome!! Thanks I like your videos cuz I can understand how you explain...

Hi Michelle! You could make this in crochet, but I would suggest using a lighter weight yarn for your rectangles. That will allow the fabric to drape better, since crochet is thicker than knitting. You'll just need to make two rectangles that are the width you want the finished sweater to be, and the length you want from shoulder to hem, plus about 12" extra. Then, you can assemble and add an edging according to the video instructions. I hope this helps!

@@YayForYarn OHHHHH really?? I've only made three garments, two of yours, comfy cozy cardigan, the cowl tee, and a poncho. I will watch that video all the way through....and see what I can figure out if I can. Would a dk size three yarn work???

Gorgeous!!! Thank you for a garment video for my Addi! Hoping for more of them. Apart from the Russian ladies videos, there are very few Addi garment making vids. Is a good ease for a sweater about 2-3or 3-4"? If I were only that small again (LOL). Looks like I may have to make an additional two flat panels (for size 12/14). Going to add sleeves.

Thank you, Kelley! I am definitely going to be making more garment projects in future videos. The amount of ease is a personal preference. Some prefer a close-fitting sweater, while others like their sweaters a little more loose-fitting. I would suggest measuring a garment that fits you well to see how much extra room is in it. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

what ply yarn did you use for this project and when you measure the bust is this in inches or cm?...Thanks
@YayForYarn6 жыл бұрын
Hi Trish. I used #4 Worsted weight yarn, which is equivalent to "Aran" or "10 ply" in the UK. You can use inches or centimeters through the entire project, whichever you prefer. Hope this helps! Thanks!

Hi Barbara. This video doesn't show the making of the flat panels, as those are made with the basic flat panel technique.

Do you know how to knit a poncho on your addi express?
@YayForYarn6 жыл бұрын
Hi Rebekah. I have not made a poncho on my Addi yet, but I can add that to my list of videos to make in the future. You can subscribe to my channel (if you haven't yet) and click the bell icon next to the subscribe button to be notified when a new video is posted. Then, when that video is posted, you will not miss it. Thanks!
