I was too cheap to buy all that Paton's yarn, so I used a few balls of wool ease I had lying around. Well... they recommended cotton for a reason! Haha I learned my lesson there. It was way too warm to be a tee shirt, so I decided to redo it as a sweater with sleeves but I kept the gradient. It's looking good so far! It'll be my first sweater ever fingers crossed. I'm using a 4-ply yarn, and I literally split the plies to get the gradient, don't ask...

This is a cute top, should be easy enough to size up to fit me. I like that its bottom up also, so it can be made longer. The only thing I would add, would be some closer shots of the work

If I wanted to make this without the gradient, just a solid color how many balls would I need and could I use just one or two balls? I am a beginner and would like to try the basic pattern before I tackle the gradient, but your video will be huge help. Thank you!!!
