I don’t like that your company works patterns in sample only

This is the first time I ever crocheted anything and this video helped me a lot. I bought this at Walmart but the comments discouraged me but when I tried it was pretty simple and I was able to finish it quickly and it was really fun to make. I recommend this a lot.

This hasn't helped me at all. I did start with 98 chains. I did the first row. Ended up with a leftover chain hanging off at the end. The pattern is wrong. There is something wrong with it.
