Thank you for a fabulous tutorial and great relaxing background music which made it so enjoyable to follow your instructions. I will be donating my hearts to the Vet where I had to put my dog to sleep 3 years ago. They gave me a little heart and said I could keep it for as long as I needed to help my grieving and then I was to pass it onto someone who I felt needed it more than me. I was so touched by this little heart and the sentiment in which it was given. Watching your video has inspired me to knit your beautiful heart and hope it helps somebody else who has lost their pet. Once again thank you.

I’ve taken up knitting since I’m a stay at home mom. I’ve watched loads of videos and I think you’re the best at teaching/instructing how to knit. You go slow and are patient. And you have the camera focused on your hands where a lot of other folks have it focused on them. I appreciate you.

Mine came out as a purl stich?
@FlockAndFern3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting - are you sliding them straight back on purl wise, watch the video really carefully, as you could be twisting the stitches when you pick them up. Hope that helps!
@kcorrigan70224 жыл бұрын
Please can you help? I dont know how I am going wrong but when I thread ny 17 stitches back onto the needle they arent facing the correct way. And then one top half of my heart is pearl, the other stitch xx
@FlockAndFern3 жыл бұрын
Hi, hmm are you sliding them straight back on purl wise, watch the video really carefully, as you could be twisting the stitches when you pick them up. Hope that helps!
@chloeyoung71723 жыл бұрын
I have just noticed this too. The written pattern says put stiches back on facing purl but then the first line after. Line 23 is knit to end and 24 is purl.. so it doesn't make sense. Going via the written pattern you have to take your stitches off the opposite way or it won't match up..

@missmarplesapprentice52194 жыл бұрын
There will be difficulty understanding the written pattern because Row 2 says K3 between the increases, on the video only 2 stitches are knitted between the increases.

If you use a different yarn weight the hearts will come out a bit smaller. Alternatively you could use double strands of DK to keep the size xx
