You are freaking amazing!!!! I have struggled with Ravelry Patterns. I’m old and have followed many old patterns that had the black and white drawings and line by line pattern(with notes and ALWAYS A LIST OF ACRONYM EXPLANATIONS - that were the same, industry wide acronyms) But that’s not the way Ravelry developers create their patterns today, so I’ve been pretty lost with the acronyms that change depending on the creator and the different styles of make ones (increases) and decreases and just about every stitch and don’t get me started on the charts! The old pattern companies never let a pattern go to publication without ALL of the mistakes corrected. So its also been very hard to know if a pattern was done or if there were going to be later issues with mistakes corrected. - I do get that these are independent creators but I’m also a person who has spent my precious bits of money on yarns and my hands that can only knit for a hour at time-so it’s so great that you have made these videos that explain things. I don’t feel quite so stupid now. Thank you!!!

Wow what a fantastic video, you really helped me out a lot, I almost gave up. Is there any chance you could do a video showing a little bit more instruction for chart 2 like you did for chart 1 please, I’m writing the pattern as I’m knitting as I really have trouble reading charts. I’d really would be most appreciative

This is a beautiful pattern but in order to do it you need to be advanced enough to correct the mistakes on the chart yourself. There is one place on the third chart ( row twelve) where the stitch count is off. The pattern requires twelve stitches and according to the row beneath you only have eleven. Shame because the finished shawl looks gorgeous.
