Personally, I'm actually kinda liking how the scarf looks like so I'm willing to push forward, but I will NOT be doing this pattern again 😂 already feel like I've made 12 scarfs with all the re-doing 🫣

Why is the both sides of your scarf the same pattern while mine, one side is the braids looking pattern while other side is more loose

It’s not. If you look closely around the 12:50 mark you can see the other side of hers looks different. This tutorial is mislabeled. This is NOT brioche stitch, as I’ve recently been made aware, but half-brioche stitch. It’s not going to look the same on both sides and I’m rather disappointed, as a new knitter, that this video is misleading. Will be finding a different one.

How do you count the loops at the beginning because I looked at another video and I literally always failed. Is it each individual loop you count in the first row or how many times you do the motion? The first loop their two. All of the other ones are just one loop.

Because they literally either give you an even number of LOOPS or an uneven number of motion. HELP.

Number of total loops should be uneven! Which includes the first knot/loop to start the chains ^^

Not a scarf but this was my first beginner project and once you do it it makes this one quite a bit easier. (I had to go back on this scarf one quite a few times to pick up on it though ) And the hat is very forgiving I hope it helps!!
