I wanted to take a moment to stop and thank you. Your videos are so easy to follow and pleasant to listen to. I started this pattern almost a year ago as a homecoming gift to my husband who was deployed and I am just now finishing it. He absolutely loves it and get a big smile whenever he puts it on.

I finally finished the sweater following dutifully your advices and the pattern! It was quite stressful when it came to binding off the neck and sealing the arm holes but I managed! (It's not perfect but I expect first tries rarely are!) Again, I can't thank you enough for your videos in this series, I would never have tried my hand at that sort of knitting without them even if I love the pattern. I can't wait for my sister to see the result and for me to start on another one of your patterns

Greetings from Colorado. I watched all three parts. Fantastic, especially the cast on method, the bind off and how you distributed the spaces evenly! I learned so much! I have knitted a few aran design sweaters and would like to knit my first icelandic design...i picked a pattern today and ordered the wool. I an going to try to adjust my knitting style away from my usual "throw the yarn with my right hand" and keep the working yarn(s) on the left. The only question I have is what to do when its too many stitches away when picking up the original color after working another color(s)? Did I miss the explanation of that?

At 2:21 with the ssk you mention “you see the stitch is not open to me, it faces away from me”. Those two stitches (on Left needle) both look normally-facing to me? I can’t quite see what exactly changes, after you ‘reposition’ those two stitches before increasing into them?

@yuhaknitting
@yuhaknitting 2 жыл бұрын
I didn't really get what do you mean.. there is the last row of Chart 2 to decrease has only 1 color, therefore. you decrease one color, then change your needles to 4.5mm and start doing the rib 1 knit, 1 purl stitch. Let me know what exactly made you confused? You can message me in another social media such as Instagram and send pictures maybe, so I can have a better look :)
