I got so excited, because this is awesome! I was looking for an invisible increase in garter stitch. Then I continued listening and curses! I need it invisible on *both* sides. Still not sure how to do that. Will continue looking. Thank you for this great video anyway!

Thank you for this video as some others show this method too however it is only you that explain that we should only do this on the WRONG SIDE so that they will not be seen. Thank you mighty much indeed..🥰🥰🥰

I'm following this Canadian pattern for a headband in garter stitch that calls for "rki" - Lift the stitch 1 row below the next stitch onto the left needle and knit this stitch, but it doesn't explain that the "stitch" is the purl bump! I hope I've got it right after watching your video! Thank you!

Very neat, thank you! Am now trying to figure out how to do this for garter stitch in the round, however. Would that be doable?

Thank you for sharing. Is the abbreviation for this technique RLIG, right leaning lifted increase for garter stitch? Thanks
@BrooklynTweed_Official Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! You'd most likely see this abbreviated as RLI.

@@BrooklynTweed_Official Thanks~ I have figured out RLIG, just pull up the purl stitch and knit.

Very helpful! Now I just need help telling which is the wrong side of visually identical sides. 😆

Right? I always put a colorful locking stitch marker VERY OBVIOUSLY in the middle of the right side of my fabric when I'm knitting garter stitch so that I can keep track! Thanks for watching!
