I made a narrow version of this scarf and loved it. While knitting, it began curling. I finished it in hopes of correcting this by washing and blocking it. Sadly this didn't work and I had to unravel it. It had curled itself into a tube. 😞

Oh I am really sorry!!! So many have knitted this and so far I haven't heard such a thing! Curling sometimes is due to yarn quality or in needles size

Yes of course you can knit it, it's the same, pattern asks to knit tge first st, just make it a bit tightly

Hi Isabelle , to avoid curling I added this border , in my scarf it does'nt curl but it creates a deep ridge right in the point of the side bordera bit annoying when you notice it but once wrapped around the neck it disappears

Hi. Can you please write out the instructions? On your blog, there's a typo for row 13 (third repeat row) and the center of my scarf isn't creating a similar pattern at all. I get zigzags instead of those boxes.

Why is it that no one thinks to mention just how many balls of wool is necessary for the pattern? it would save us hours of trying to find the pattern etc!!! This is especially the case when the pattern is so great and tempting! it does not take long to give this information, surely.
