This is awesome! I'm currently making a shawl and most of my customers do not like the curl. Now I will have and elegant border, thanks so much!!!

Your scarf could still be curling because there are too few stitches in the garter stitch border, so you could try adding more stitches next time. You can also block your work by wetting it and laying (or pinning) it flat to dry, which will relax the fibres and hopefully prevent the curling.

Do you have to do 4 stitch borders? Or can you do as few as 2 or 3? No one in my family knits, and I didn't know anyone who knits even outside of my family. So I had to take it upon myself. I have taught myself through YT so everything I learn is here lol I'm in the middle of a scarf and it has curled so much at the ends it looks like a dogs nose! lol

Um...I think those are either 4mm or 4.5mm...or they could be 5mm! I'm not sure anymore! Usually you can find a needle size recommendation on the paper band that comes with your yarn.

I knitted a scarf with a border of garter stich too, and it still curled up too, what can we do? Is it possible that the reason is that i knitted it too tight???? I' m a beginner, please help...
