How to Knit the Leaf Panel Stitch

thanks, I'm just starting to learn knitting, been a crocheter all my life. Love the "leaf" look, jotted everything down as you went...going to try my hand now....thanks to all you who put these things into vids.

Hi, will try out this pattern. You have 3 sts on each side which you are not mentioning, perhaps its for the swatch you are preparing.😊 Please show a finished pik of the demo. The last pik was too closeup, couldn't get the idea of the finished product.

I wish you would have held up the piece so we could get a good look. The tiny close-up does not even look like a leaf.

Wish you'd start putting the row by row patterns written in the drop down bar/text below vid. Save me from a lot of skipping and pausing. I love watching your work in some vids where I can keep up. But most I can and would be easier with visual written directions not in the vid. Thanks for SO much knitting help.

The knitter is demonstrating the kind of cast on method they are using. They then go on to cast on the required no. Of stitches, though this is not seen.

your count is off, by the time you K 7 there are no 3 more stitches left to finish the row
