When testing the fuses in the ECM can you test them while they are still connected to the ECM or do you have to take them out to test them like you did in this video?

hey i love your videos! I have a 2011 tiguan epc light comes on and i get random cylinder misfires. I replaced the spark plugs coils, and fuel injectors and am still getting these problems do you cover this in one of the private videos? if so how do i gain access to these videos?

In which situations should you test a fuse to know if a part needs to be replaced? Is it possible for a fuse to be good but a part be bad? or vice versa?

Then in that case you can just test the fuse. If its reading out good then that eliminates that part atleast. Now test the other one 👌🏽

How did you remove the fuse? Just pull it straight out?

Yep! Sometimes you can easily use your fingers but if not a fuse puller tool works great and is often included in fuse boxes and replacement kits (looks like fat tweezers). Needle nose pliers also work.
