Despite being scheduled species they have been sold and kept as pets.

You should keep her outdoors in garden if possible. If not, chances are high she’ll get egg bound by retaining egg when not provided proper environment. Female tortoises can lay eggs without mating, the eggs will be infertile and won’t hatch.

I know the entire process and successfully hatched many hatchlings as well but not sharing any of such information on public platform and encourage their captive breeding 🙏 Sorry for being so strict but I hope you can understand the dilemma.

There isn’t an accurate way to tell age of a tortoise. One can roughly guess the age by lookout at size but growth varies from tortoise to tortoise.
