Very informative video identifying fake liquor. Fake liquor is a big concern especially in third world countries. Thanks and best wishes.

Around the beginning you said something like an old whiskey of 25, 30 or 40 years old would have evaporated and be at the shoulders of the bottle etc. The way you said it makes me wonder if you're confusing how long a whiskey has been sitting in the barrel to age with how long it's been sitting in the bottle. I guess after the barrel REGARDLESS of the age (could be 3 years or 300) they would fill it to the middle of the neck (also basing this on what you said). And I guess evaporation would happen after a long time in the bottle. So for example even the oldest whiskey that has ever existed should not be lower than the middle of the neck if after bottling someone bought it immediately or very soon. So why do you say that a very old whiskey should have evaporated? Very old means aged and I can only guess that evaporation also happens in the barrel but I think that's irrelevant as that has nothing to do with how much they fill a bottle. For example a very aged whiskey that was bought like yesterday or last year or something not so long I guess, shouldn't have evaporated so again, why do you say that a very old whiskey will have evaporated? Or maybe you're referring to how long the whiskey has been sitting in the bottle regardless of aging. And it safe to guess that whiskeys that that sit in the bottle for so many years are ones that are very aged and expensive so a long time may pass by without anyone buying them, while regular cheap whiskies are always sold out soon? Secondly, how do we know how long a whiskey has been in the bottle? We can often know the age of the whiskey, or any alcohol for that matter, by the age statement on the label or even by researching a little more even on No Age Statement drinks to at least have an idea of the age but when it comes to the age of the whiskey in the bottle, how can we possibly know that? Is there a way to know that? Always?

Scammers of course know all of this... all of these can be faked, but the taste?

Look, there are people that can counterfeit money passports, etc EXTREMELY well. A bottle of alcohol, yeah that's too easy. Never buy it in a bar or club (especially the expensive ones).

especially if you buy bottles from unknown sources it is usefull for comparison to have a reliable source at hand. BTW: currently (August/Sept. 2022) there are fake Yamazaki 18yo bottles in several UK auctions "available". Be careful, even if you buy from an auction house.

What this proves is people are paying way to much for the high dollar boozes. They can't tell you the difference. And a bottle of booze sits around for decades it loses its quality, taste and especially alcohol content. I will stick with Jack over the high rollers crap. These people are not real Whiskey drinkers. They are fakes like the $500 bottle of booze they force themselves to drink. JTS Brown & Jack #7 kick the ass of this crappy over priced piss...

I have a good idea but can't say about it in theory it should work about distraction of whisky without tampering with the bottle so it can be checked by a laboratory to make sure it is the real deal.I have came up with 2 other inventions that I wrote down in 2015 and the company I had in mind done it during covid the other a person done the other 1 in 2019 and person came third and got a prize fee of 15 thousand pounds.

I just ordered a bottle of Johnny Walker 18 years aged blended scotch and the seal was already broken. On top of that it was only filled to the top of shoulders and not half of the neck of the bottle. Also the sticker around the neck was uneven. I paid € 85 for this -.- I sent a mail to the webshop asking to send this bottle back and receive a new one with unbroken seal...

Hi sir. How to know if the whisky is fake.? What is the sign? Only a bubbles ?
@whiskygeorgia4 жыл бұрын
Hello, bubbles are one of the factors with which you can determine the abv of the liquid. In this video I'm talking about other factors too, please watch full video and if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer. Thank you

@@whiskygeorgia thank you sir example jack daniel old no.7 jd haave 40% abv when i shake the jack deniels and the bubbles disappeare after 3 sec. The jack deniels is orig right ?

How about the packaging and the bottle sir? What is the sign if the jack deniels is fake ?
@whiskygeorgia4 жыл бұрын
@@alfredodelavegajr1039 yes for 40%abv 3 seconds are good time for bubbles to disappear. Bottles stay in bottle more time if abv is much high then 40%.

@@alfredodelavegajr1039 I'm not Jack professional unfortunately, so can't tell much about box and visual style of the bottle. Thank you
